| BAIZ started in 1956, and not so long ago, in 2006, we celebrated our 50th anniversary on a market that is still loyal to us. This loyalty endorses our philosophy based on quality, both of our manufactured product and of the service provided by a team of excellent professionals.
The BAIZ manufacturing program spans the following:
- Standard DIN 103 threaded bars available for immediate delivery; also specially customised to customer specifications.
- Precision Acme screws, specifically manufactured to customers specifications. The ends can be finished including turning, milling, grinding, etc.
- Standard nuts for immediate delivery and possibility to manufacture special nuts in bronze, steel or other materials such as brass, cast iron, nylatron, ertalyte, etc.
- Endless screws from catalogues and special ones to customer specifications with one or multiple starts.
We manufacture all these parts for a wide range of machinery and applications where robust and reliable precision linear transmissions are required. Being one of the most powerful manufacturers of the sector in Europe, we cover the whole range of industrial sectors.
We can manufacture precision spindles according to customer specifications from ??12 to ??100. The outer ends can be finished (turning, milling, grinding operations, etc.). We use several materials such as F114, F125, ETG 100, stainless steel, etc.
BAIZ achieves a minimum clearance between spindle and nut allowing this assembly to work at high speeds. The Acme screws + nut assembly is a substitute for the costly ball screws in numerous applications. Our spindles can be used in a wide variety of applications such as: machine tools, woodworking machinery, valves, lifts, irrigation sluices, screw jacks, agricultural machinery, actuators for solar panels, construction machinery, amongst others.

- In diameters < 50 mm: 0.03/300 mm.
- In diameters >50 mm: 0.06/300 mm.
In BAIZ we manufacture special nuts according to drawings from ??12 to ??100 in bronze, steel, brass, Ertalyte, and many more.
We manufacture the nuts with a clearance or fit to customer specifications according to the application or use.
We use a wide variety of tools to cut thread on nuts from ??30, and between ??30 and ??100 we can make any pitch and thread with multiple starts providing major flexibility and productivity because of our modern machine park.
We can deliver the following items immediately: a wide range of threaded bars, nuts, worms and crown wheels.
- Acme threaded rod to the DIN 103 standard in F114 steel. Outer quality: h7 - h8 (ground rod). Precision: 0.03/300 mm. Available from TR 15x3 to TR 60x9, both in left-hand as well as right-hand thread. Total length of rods: between 5 and 6.5 metre. Delivered both completely and partly threaded as per customer specification.
- Bronze nuts with steel flange, according to DIN 103.
